Laura Linney
Laura Linney (born on February 5, 64, in New York in the U.S.A.) is an American actress who is known for her role as a tough and vulnerable persona. Linney was born into the theatre of her family, with her father Romulus Linney writing plays. Linney graduated from Arts Theatre School, Moscow in 1986. She then completed an M.F.A. at Juilliard School. New York City was her first stop in 1990. In the year 1990, she began her career in shows on Broadway before receiving acclaim for her roles as Hedda Gabler in Six Degrees of Separation and Hedda Gabler.
